About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Secufluencer collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal data in connection with the Secufluencer website and SaaS product.

Secufluencer helps security engineers and security professionals plan, draft, organize, and manage content for building a personal brand online. By using the website, joining the waitlist, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. For contractual terms, see our Terms of Service.

2

Who we are

Secufluencer is an independent SaaS product and is not currently operated by a specific incorporated company. References to “Secufluencer,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the independent operators of the Secufluencer service. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at support@secufluencer.com.

3

The service in brief

Secufluencer provides content strategy, post idea generation, draft generation, content library, content calendar, and consistency tools for security professionals. The service currently focuses on LinkedIn content planning and drafting. X and Threads support is planned as a coming soon feature and may depend on product availability, third-party platform access, and your selected plan.

4

Account and identity data

We may collect account and identity information such as your name, email address, password or authentication information, profile details, role, organization name, language, timezone, waitlist details, subscription plan, and product preferences. If social login is offered, we may receive basic profile information and email address from the login provider you choose.

5

Content, notes, and drafts

Because Secufluencer is built around your content workflow, we may collect and process the content you submit, upload, create, generate, or manage in the service.

This may include notes, prompts, topics, security research summaries, lessons learned, incident notes, tool ideas, draft posts, hooks, content calendars, schedules, links, metadata, saved frameworks, generated outputs, and related content library items.

6

Connected platform data

Secufluencer currently focuses on LinkedIn workflows and may later support X, Threads, and other third-party platforms. If the service allows you to connect a third-party account, we may receive data from that platform through its API, such as account identifiers, profile metadata, authorization scopes, tokens, connected page or profile information, post metadata, publishing status, and analytics exposed by the platform.

We use connected platform data only to provide the features you request, such as planning content, preparing posts, scheduling workflows, publishing support, and displaying available analytics. Each connected platform’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to its handling of your data.

7

Billing and subscription data

If you purchase a paid plan, we may collect billing-related information such as plan name, subscription status, billing email, billing address, invoice history, tax information, payment status, renewal date, trial status, and payment processor references. Card numbers and bank account details are handled by payment processors, and Secufluencer generally receives only limited payment metadata such as tokenized references, card brand, last four digits, or expiry information where provided by the processor.

8

Logs, usage, and device data

We may collect technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, user-agent, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, features used, drafts created, errors, performance metrics, login timestamps, session data, security events, and diagnostic information. This helps us operate, secure, debug, and improve Secufluencer.

9

Communications and support data

We may collect messages and information you send through email, support requests, surveys, feedback forms, waitlist forms, product research, community channels, or other communications. This may include support context, feature requests, bug reports, and marketing email engagement such as opens or clicks where permitted.

10

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, product improvement, and marketing attribution. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or any consent controls we provide. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website or service from working correctly.

11

How we use data

We use the data described in this Policy to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve Secufluencer;
  • create and manage accounts, subscriptions, trials, and waitlist access;
  • generate content ideas, drafts, calendars, and related outputs you request;
  • process payments, invoices, tax records, renewals, cancellations, and refunds where applicable;
  • secure the service, detect abuse, prevent fraud, investigate incidents, and enforce our Terms;
  • debug issues, monitor uptime, measure performance, and understand feature usage;
  • communicate service updates, security notices, billing messages, support replies, and product announcements;
  • comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce rights, and defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the content of your private drafts, notes, or connected platform content to send you third-party advertising.

12

AI-assisted features

Secufluencer may offer AI-assisted features that generate, rewrite, summarize, structure, or refine content ideas, LinkedIn drafts, hooks, calendars, topic frameworks, or related outputs. To provide these features, we may transmit the prompts and inputs you choose to include to AI model providers or, for BYOK plans, to the provider connected to your own API key.

We use AI processing to provide the requested feature, not to replace your review. AI outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable, and you remain responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing. Where possible, we aim to use providers and configurations that do not use your inputs or outputs to train models unless you opt in or the provider’s own terms say otherwise.

13

BYOK processing

If you use a bring-your-own-key plan, your prompts, notes, drafts, and related inputs may be sent to the AI provider associated with your key. That provider may process data under its own terms, privacy policy, retention settings, and account configuration. You are responsible for managing your API key, provider account, usage limits, and provider-side privacy settings.

14

Controller and processor roles

For account, billing, website analytics, marketing, support, and service security data, Secufluencer generally acts as the party that determines why and how the data is processed.

For content you submit and any personal data contained in drafts, notes, prompts, published posts, connected platform data, audience data, or customer materials that you process through Secufluencer, you are responsible for ensuring you have the required rights, permissions, notices, and lawful basis to use that data.

15

Who we share data with

We share data only as needed to operate Secufluencer and provide the service, including with:

  • infrastructure providers such as hosting, storage, database, CDN, monitoring, and security vendors;
  • payment processors for subscriptions, invoices, taxes, fraud prevention, and billing support;
  • AI model providers that process prompts and inputs for AI-assisted features;
  • analytics and product improvement tools that help us understand usage and fix issues;
  • customer support, email, and communication providers;
  • connected third-party platforms when you choose to connect or publish through them;
  • professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and similar advisors;
  • authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent abuse;
  • successor entities if Secufluencer is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, product transfer, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal data or rent it to third parties.

16

International data transfers

Secufluencer is an online SaaS product and may use service providers located in Indonesia and other countries. Your data may be processed or stored outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing, such as contractual protections, access controls, encryption, and vendor security commitments.

17

Data retention

We keep data only for as long as reasonably needed to provide Secufluencer, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain security, and keep legitimate business records.

  • Account data is generally kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
  • Drafts, notes, calendars, and content library items are kept while your account is active or until you delete them, subject to backups and legal retention needs.
  • Billing records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, and financial laws.
  • Operational and security logs are retained for a limited period appropriate for debugging, security, and compliance.
  • Backups may retain deleted information until they expire through normal backup rotation.
18

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, authentication controls, monitoring, backups, vendor reviews, and incident response procedures. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

19

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including under applicable Indonesian data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or request information about how your personal data is used.

You may also unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link where available. Transactional, billing, security, and service-related messages may still be sent while your account is active.

To exercise rights that cannot be managed in-product, contact support@secufluencer.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

20

Indonesia privacy law

Where Indonesian law applies, we process personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia, including Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law and related implementing regulations as they become effective. This includes applying appropriate purposes, safeguards, retention practices, and rights-handling processes required by Indonesian law.

21

Children’s privacy

Secufluencer is intended for professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Secufluencer, contact support@secufluencer.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

22

Third-party sites and services

The website and service may link to, embed, or integrate with third-party services such as LinkedIn, X, Threads, AI providers, analytics tools, payment processors, or support tools. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party service you connect or use.

23

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Secufluencer evolves. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through email, in-product notice, or the website. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last updated. Continued use of Secufluencer after an update means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
